Is Karma A B*tch Like Destiny, Then?

Sun's Karma?Ben, Lord love him, believes that Destiny isn’t the most loyal of subjects. Who can forget his words to Locke back in Cabin Fever:

“Because, destiny, John, is a fickle b*tch!”

That she may be, but one wonders where Karma ranks on the bitch-o-meter? Considering Sun is a great believer in ‘Karma’ (it was her back in season 2, I believe, who suggested that crashing on the island was punishment for their past sins). We now know why she would be so aware of the mysterious ways of the Universe, seeing as she was doing the dirty on Jin with Mr. Clean (Jae Lee). Anyhoo, what I’m getting at is whether Jin’s apparent ‘death’ at the end of Season 4 is just rewards for Sun’s treachery? Whilst she may do well to blame the likes of Father Paik, Charles Widmore and Jack, ultimately it’s her who played the key role in Jin’s ‘demise’. It was her who, in a bid to keep her cheating secret from Jin, made a deal with father Paik which involved Jin being forced to do henchman work and hence coming home with blood on his hands - the very reason for which Sun was going to leave Jin. Okay, there was more to it than that, but from our perspective, his coming home with blood on his hands signified her justification for leaving him.

It strikes me that Sun herself was at the root for Jin’s devolution into a pre-island madman, and if she is to blame anyone for his death, I hope that she’s reserved a spot for herself. Indeed, I think she may have.

Like destiny, I guess Karma can also be a bitter pill to swallow?

(and of course, we all know that Jin isn’t dead..until we see it happen, think Mikhail ;))
